Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

CIRQL is a product of Siress AG Ventures Corporation (“SAGVC,” “we,” “us,” “our”), a Texas corporation. This policy covers the CIRQL app and cirql.id (the “Service”).

2. How CIRQL Is Built — Your Data Stays With You

CIRQL is designed so your contact information stays with you, not with us. We do not operate a central database of your contacts. The details you add and the connections you make are stored on your device and in your own personal iCloud account (Apple CloudKit). iCloud is required:CIRQL uses Apple iCloud (CloudKit) to store your data and transfer it between your devices and the people you connect with, and the app does not function without it (your use of iCloud is also governed by Apple’s terms). When you share, the information goes directly to the people you authorize through Apple’s iCloud sharing — it does not pass through a CIRQL server that keeps it. We do not sell your information and we do not show ads.

3. Information Involved

  • Stays in your control: the contact details you add (name, phone, email, address, social profiles) and your connections and circle settings — held on your device and your required personal iCloud account (Apple CloudKit), not copied to our servers.
  • We do receive: (a) your email if you join the website waitlist (to send updates; unsubscribe anytime); (b) support correspondence you send us (e.g., to feedback@cirql.id); (c) standard, aggregated/de-identified diagnostics (crash logs, app/OS version) to fix bugs.
  • Device contacts (optional): with permission, CIRQL reads your address book on your device to help you find people you know; we do not upload your address book.

4. How We Use Information

We use information only to operate and improve the Service, respond to support, send waitlist/product emails you requested, and maintain security. We do notsell or “share” personal information (as defined under Texas and California law), and we do not use it for advertising or model training.

5. How Sharing Works

Sharing is peer-to-peer and consent-based. You choose exactly which fields each connection sees via circle permissions and can revoke access anytime. Once you share, the details are on that person’s device (the “recipient boundary”); revocation stops future updates.

6. Service Providers

For limited functions (website hosting, waitlist email) we use trusted providers bound by contract to protect data and use it only for those functions. Device / iCloud sync is provided by Apple under Apple’s terms.

7. Security

We use TLS for data in transit and rely on your device’s secure storage and Apple’s iCloud encryption for data you hold. No system is perfectly secure, but because we keep no central store of your contacts, there is no central honeypot to breach.

8. Your Privacy Rights

You can view, export, correct, delete, and revoke directly in the app at any time. Depending on where you live you may also have legal rights:

  • Texas (TDPSA): confirm/access, correct, delete, portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising/sale/profiling (we do none). Email privacy@cirql.id. If we decline, you may appeal by replying; if the appeal is denied you may contact the Texas Attorney General. We honor recognized universal opt-out / Global Privacy Control signals.
  • California (CCPA/CPRA): rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale/sharing (we do not sell or share); no discrimination for exercising rights.
  • EU/EEA & UK (GDPR/UK GDPR): where applicable, lawful bases are your consent and our legitimate interest in operating the Service; rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and to complain to your supervisory authority.

9. Sensitive Data

CIRQL is not designed to collect sensitive/special-category data; we process it only where you choose to include it and, where required, with your consent.

10. Adults Only (18+)

CIRQL is for adults aged 18 or older and is not directed to or intended for minors. Connecting involves sharing a link we cannot guarantee is appropriate for minors; we intend to revisit age eligibility as platform-level minor-safety controls become available. We do not knowingly permit or collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we will close an account if we learn the user is a minor.

11. International Users

SAGVC is U.S.-based. Because the Service is serverless, your contact data stays with you; the limited information we do receive (Section 3) may be processed in the U.S. by us or our providers. Where required for EU/UK personal-data transfers, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses.

12. Changes

We revise the “Effective date” and, for material changes, notify in-app or by email.
